Who we are
We are Anita and Jeffrey Sykes, husband and wife design team. We’re both born and raised on the East Coast, specifically, the New Jersey/New York area. We moved out west for the great powder skiing. After living in several small mountain towns built around the ski industry we settled in Alta, Wyoming. Another small mountain town on the western slope of the Teton Mountain Range. There we started building our graphic design business. After two decades of living in snow country the cabin fever got to us and we decided to move to The Valley of the Sun, Tempe, Arizona. We are very pleased with the change and don’t mind 2-3 months of “The Oven” over 8-9 months of “The Ice Box”.
During our free time we enjoy recreating or simply hanging out with our two most successful creations of all, our two children. Sharing quality time with our kids doing the things we all enjoy, like: biking, surfing, hiking, playing the Wii “Just Dance”, or baking chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, is our best creative inspiration. Sounds like a cliché, but it’s true.
Professional background information
Jeffrey’s area of expertise is the web with a focus in UI/UX design and development. He started testing the waters of website design about 15 years ago. Each day of his life he’s deeply entrenched in the Adobe CS world, there’s always so much to learn. A self-motivator who taught himself everything he knows: Proficient in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator. He’s always willing and ready to take on any challenge that presents itself. He executes each project with the utmost incredible patience, and is always perfectly charming and exceptionally helpful with our clients and people in general. It’s safe to say that he is a people person.
Anita is the Graphic Artist/Creative Director and overall print expert. With a BFA in Advertising Design she has acumulated over 15 years of professional experience working as an in-house graphic designer and production manager for newspapers, publishing and print companies. Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
